Wolfchase Animal Hospital is a fully equipped hospital for the treatment of domestic and exotic animals. Because your pet is an important member of your family, we encourage routine physical examinations and preventative health care to keep your pet in the best condition possible.
Our goal at Wolfchase Animal Hospital is to help your pet live a longer, healthier life. We can meet all your pet's health needs, from simple shots to complex surgery. Our dedicated doctors take a personal interest in your pet. In addition, our friendly staff is happy to answer all your questions.
Please meet our doctors:
Susanne Taylor, DVM
Dr. Taylor is from Memphis. She graduated from Kingsbury High School, went to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for her Bachelor of Science degree and then on to the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine for her doctorate, graduating in 1983. She has a family farm outside of Oakland, Tenn., with a wide assortment of animals.
Wade Bowers, DVM
Dr. Bowers is a native of Bartlett, Tenn., who graduated from Bartlett High School in 1996. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1998-2002. After an honorable discharge from the military, he attended undergraduate courses at East Mississippi Community College and Mississippi State University. In 2009, Dr. Bowers graduated from the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He currently lives in Bartlett with his lovely wife and two children, and is patiently awaiting the arrival of his third child. In his spare time, Dr. Bowers enjoys taking his chocolate Lab, Tucker, to the dog park, watching the antics of his favorite feline, O’Malley, and working with his Ball python collection. Dr. Bowers’ professional interests include exotic animal medicine, small animal ophthalmology, and small animal internal medicine.
Traci Dixon, DVM
Dr. Dixon is a 1991 graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has practiced in Bartlett and the surrounding area for the past 18 years. When not at the clinic, she is spending time with her husband and their 2 dogs, Kate, an 8-year-old Lab, and Molly, an 18-year-old Terrier mix, on the farm, crappie fishing, antique furniture restoration and quilting.
Russ Drury, DVM
Dr. Drury is a 2011 graduate of the Mississippi State University School of Veterinary Medicine.
